Our mission

Most of the internet wants you to scroll. A feed, a recommendation engine, an algorithm quietly deciding what you see next — all of it designed to keep you deciding forever. We think that's exhausting.

Press the Button does the opposite. One button. One press. One destination. No feed to manage, no "for you" page, nothing optimised to keep you scrolling — just a straight line from "I'm bored" to somewhere genuinely worth your next five minutes.

What we do

We built a button that sends you somewhere real: a quiz, an arcade game, a moral dilemma, a reflex test, a genuinely unsettling photo archive, a map-guessing game — pulled from a list we actually maintain ourselves.

• 🔗Every link is checked, not just collected. We test that each site actually loads before it goes in the rotation — not scraped from an old list and left to rot.
• 🎭Sorted by mood, not just luck. Arcade, Quiz, Dilemma, Art, Reflex, or Weird — nudge the randomness toward what you're actually in the mood for, or leave it fully random.
• 🧼No clutter. No accounts, no tracking dashboard, no push notifications begging you to come back. Just the button.

The story behind Press the Button

We already run Spin the Wheel, a free random picker — so when the "bored button" idea came up, building one properly felt like the obvious next thing, not a stretch.

A lot of the sites in this genre are years old, half the links are dead, and nobody's gone back to check. So we did the boring part properly: went link by link, dropped what didn't work, and kept what was actually worth landing on.
